Brittney Marie Johnson, 33, passed away on February 12, 2026.
Brittney was born on February 18, 1992, in Pocatello, Idaho to Bonnie Munden and Michael Balls. At a young age, her family moved to Clearfield, UT and lived with her grandma and grandpa, Gayle and Frank Ball. She graduated from Syracuse High School in 2010. She completed DATC Nurse Assistant Certification in 2010. She returned to Pocatello after high school and earned an Associate of Arts degree through Idaho State University in 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree through BYU-I in 2019. She was a member of PCCoC Leadership class of 2022.
She married Irving Johnson on March 26, 2022, in Pocatello, Idaho.
Britt loved life and was always willing to help another person. She was an avid prankster.
Brittney is survived by her husband, Irving Johnson of Pocatello, Idaho; her mother, Bonnie Munden of Pocatello, Idaho; her father, Michael Balls of Pocatello, Idaho; her sister, Kymber Benson of Pocatello, Idaho; and her brother, Ryan MacKinnon of Pocatello, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her grandma and grandpa, Gayle and Fank Ball.
The family would like to share heartfelt thanks to a wonderful community and dear family for their compassion and support.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1700 Kinghorn Road, Pocatello, ID. A viewing will be held prior beginning at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Health West is appreciated to help others with chronic pain.
