Bro. Cloyce Laverne "C.L." Robinson passed away Friday, July 12, 2025, peacefully at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 93. Bro. Cloyce Laverne "C.L." Robinson was born June 4, 1932, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to the late Talmadge Robinson and Viola "Ola" Warnell Robinson. He received his associates degree from Williams Baptist College after serving four years in the United States Air Force. He was a life long resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He founded five Mobile Home Plants. He owned and operated a car dealership, He pastored and built eleven churches where he mentored many pastors. He was the Pastor of Healing Word Worship Center of Jonesboro, Arkansas since 2007 (for eighteen years). He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Ola Robinson; his wife, Dorothy Robinson; two sons, Jonathan Lynn Robinson and Randy Isbell; two sisters, Genelda Robinson and Iris Virginia Hamby; one brother, Lowell Robinson. He is survived by, two sons, Anthony "Tony" (Jane) Robinson of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Gilbert "Gill" (Penny) Isbell of Villa Rica, Georgia; three daughters, Valinda (Allen) Armstrong of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Charlotte (Michael) Drennan of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Sandra Isbell Shopher of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister, Dalline Brumley of Floral, Arkansas, eight grand daughters, one very special one, who was his hospice nurse and caretaker, Jaime Cleveland, four grandsons, 12 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, a very special church family, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arrangements will be as follows, visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2-9 P.M at Healing Word Worship Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Funeral will be Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10 A.M. at Healing Word Worship Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza, Arkansas will be in charge of the service.
