I was very close to Broade from High School at HCHS. I even went on our senior trip to the beach with him. I am very sorry to hear this, I was shocked. I remember him as a wonderful person with competitive spirit and great man to know. Very sorry, Semper Fidelis

Our deepest condolences. I only had the opportunity to know Broade a short time. He always made me smile with his quick wit. He loved his family as he spoke of Majirl and his kids often.He will be dearly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

He was a good person and he did love everyone that he meet he is truly going to be miss Rip my until we meet again Rest in Paradise

Broade's memory will live on as a HCHS Bear. Once a bear, always a bear. Please know that we are praying for all of Broade's family.

I'm so sorry for your loss!! I will be in prayer for you all! I worked at Hampton with Broade when he worked as a Pickens County Teacher Assistant. Broade always genuinely loved the students and they loved him! He never had one bad word to say about anyone! He will be greatly missed!

I knew him as " coach Edge" through sports radio. Very nice guy. He always had me laughing. Very sorry to hear about him passing. He lit up a room when he was there. My condolences and prayers to the family.
