Brock DeJarnette Davidson, 55, of Saint Johns, FL, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was the son of the late Patricia Dejarnette Massie and Jimmy Mack Davidson.

Brock was born on January 2, 1970, in South Boston, VA. He graduated from Heritage High School, enlisted in the United States Navy in 1988 and later commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer in 2007. Brock retired from military service in 2020 following a 32-year career serving this nation with honor, distinction and valor. He was awarded Combat Action Ribbon and Bronze Star with "V" signifying valor and acts of heroism while in combat.

He was an avid fisherman and golfer, dedicated husband and father. He passionately believed in everyone's potential to achieve greatness if given the right guidance and mentorship. In this Brock found his calling to lead, lift up, and better those around him.

Brock is survived by his wife of 24 years, Anjanette "Angie" Davidson; his son Jacob Tyler Davidson; mother-in-law Marlene Chávez; aunts, Bonnie Wilson (Roger), Brenda DeJarnette, and Dianne Padgett; siblings, Murdock DeJarnette Massie (Tanyska) and Jim Chase; brothers-in-law, Oscar Andrade, Alex Andrade, and Osmar Andrade; and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Brock is preceded in death by Hazel White DeJarnette, Sandra "Sandy" Chase, Hunter Archer Dejarnette Jr., Bobby Padgett and Joyce Shorter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the SEAL Legacy Foundation, Navy SEAL Foundation or the UDT-SEAL Association.

A funeral service, led by Coach Doug Smith of Forest, VA will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg, VA

Interment with Military Honors will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
