Brockett Natalie Nicole Peña Obituary

Natalie Nicole Peña-Brockett was born in Ventura, California, to two loving parents, Joseph and Teresa Peña. She was soon given the gift of having a younger sister, Andrea Ontiveros. Throughout her middle and high school life, she strived to be the best and excelled academically while participating in extracurricular activities, such as joining the tennis team, where she eventually met the love of her life, Phillip Brockett. At this point, she had set a goal to become a healer and help those around her as much as possible. To do this, she set her sights on medical school. It was a long and challenging journey, but due to the love and support of her family, her loving husband, and the faith she had in God, she accomplished her dream. In her life, she loved and supported everyone and wanted to make sure everyone knew how to take care of themselves. She prided herself on teaching and providing resources to make sure everyone had the same opportunities she did to achieve their dreams. She put others first until the very end. Her love for her family and friends was unmatched, and one of her most joyous days was meeting her godson and nephew, Elijah Ontiveros. Some things Natalie would always want everyone to remember are that we must continue to learn so that we can take care of each other and ourselves, and that no matter what life is like, God is good.
