It's been much too long since I've seen my double second cousin, Peter St. Romain. Until today, I did not know he had been suffering with an illness, passed away and that his first name was Fred. Years ago, my family and I would occasionally visit with the St. Romain family on Spring Bayou Road. A wonderful family, in my opinion. Fred, Sadie and their children: Robert, Jackie, Perry, Peter, June and Jenny. Peter was 6 years younger than me, but he was always fun to be around. It seemed he always, at least at the time, had a smile on his face. He was pleasant to be around, just like all the members of his family.
Peter, I'm sorry I did not visit with you more recently, especially during the last few years of your life when you were going through what must have been a difficult illness. May the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ be showered upon you, and the family you leave behind. One day, by the Grace of God, I look forward to seeing you on the streets of gold, or around the Throne where we can worship, praise, and serve the Living God for an eternity.
With Love,
In Christ,
Glen
