Brooklyn Fulton Obituary
Brooklyn Elizabeth Fulton departed this earthly life on May 3, 2024 surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. She was 42.
Brooklyn was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 30, 1981 to Nina and George Fulton. At an early age, Brooklyn professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a member and attended New Evergreen Ministries and Christ Emmanuel until her health began to fail her.
Brooklyn graduated from Wyoming High School where she excelled in basketball and track. She was a member of the school record setting 4 x 200 relay team. She continued her education at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College where she played basketball.
Brooklyn was a basketball player. She loved the game. She would open the Oak Street gym for pick up games and holidays. She also participated in the famous Dave the Macker Tournament where she was often the only female on the court. Don't be fooled, she would give anyone on the court a run for their money.
Brooklyn could also be found refereeing games around the city. She would always find her way back to the game of basketball somehow.
Brooklyn loved life and people. If Brooklyn was around there was never a dull moment. You could guarantee she would make you smile or laugh if she was nearby. Either from a funny face, silly joke or a crazy noise that she would make. Her presence was always felt when she was around.
Brooklyn was well known and she loved helping people. One of her gifts was serving others. She would always be willing to help out in any way she could for just about anyone.
Brooklyn's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family. She is preceded in death by her father, George Fulton and sister, Holly Fulton.
Brooklyn leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Nina Fulton Williams; brothers, Garnail (Donna) Fulton, Dale Fulton, Kendall Fulton, Bruce Fulton, Ivan Fulton, Titus (Tonika) Fulton, Ricardo (Denise) Fulton, Tony Fulton and Greg (Jackie) Wright; sisters, Kim Fulton, Lydia Fulton, Triska (Brad) Hamilton, April Fulton, Angel (David) Goins Jr., Robin Reese, Gloria (Calvin) Waver and Julie Wright along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
