I will always remember Brooks,,,and all of the Talleys, as being honorable , good, people. I cherish my memories of growing up , as the Talley's neighbor and friend. So saddened to hear of Brooks' passing,,,,A fine, honorable, Man,,,,whom I am so happy to have shared the joys of growing up. Thank you Brooks,,,,,for being such a great example of how to live an honorable life. You will be missed in this one, My Thoughts and deepest sympathies, are extended to those of whom, Brooks left behind. God Bless you Budder.

I first met Brooks when I was assigned to the District Attorney's office at Juvenile court in Orange in1984, and Brooks was assigned as a deputy public defender. Then, and throughout his career, Brooks had a tremendous reputation as an absolute straight shooter. Everybody in our office liked dealing with Brooks, even thought he was on the other side. No more honorable individual ever practiced criminal defense law in Orange County. He was a wonderful person to spent time with, to deal a pretrial, or to go to trial. His passing is such a loss, I feel so sorry for his family.

I´m so sorry to hear of his loss. He was a true gentleman, a gentleman warrior for those who could not defend themselves. He was my supervisor in the public defenders office and a wonderful example to everyone he mentored. My condolences to his family.
