Bruce J. Blais, 72, of Willington, CT, and Exeter, NH, loving husband of Deborah A. Blais for 51 years, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Leominster, MA on May 26, 1952 to John W. and Pauline (Ballentine) Blais. Bruce was a 1970 graduate of Rockville High School and upon graduation he joined the Air Force with a 12 year career in the service. Returning home he had a 54 year career at Pratt and Whitney and United Technologies. He was also a proud member of the American Legion.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Deborah (Chatterton) Blais, sons; Christopher M. Blais and his wife Megan, Timothy D. Blais, grandchildren; Jordan, Morgan, Kerry, Thomas and Grayson. He was predeceased by his parents; John and Pauline Blais.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Timothy Hong for his expertise and compassion. Also to Colleen Brown for her unwavering support. He cherished you both.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 74 Pompey Hollow Road, Ashford, CT. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. For online condolences, please visit www.leetestevens.com
