Bruce Blend
NEW SALEM - Bruce Blend, 65, New Salem, passed away peacefully at his farm on October 17, 2023. He was surrounded by family after a well fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the New Salem Auditorium. Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a prayer service at 2 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the Auditorium on Monday.
Survivors include his three children and their families, Toby (Tessa) Blend, Justin (Jessica) Blend, and Shila Blend (fiancé, Brad Suchy) and 16 grandchildren with one more on the way. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie and his parents, John and Erna Blend.
