Bruce Bork Obituary
Bruce "Bob" Bork, age 90 of Cottage Grove, MN passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 24, 2025.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 8694 80th Street S.; Cottage Grove, MN with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Maplewood, MN.
Bruce was born on May 1, 1934 to Otto and Bertha (Swanson) Bork in St. Paul, MN. He grew up on the east side of St. Paul, MN. Bruce married his high school sweetheart, June Weihe and they settled into the Cottage Grove area to raise their family. He worked for Northwest Airlines as an Equipment Service Chief for over 54 years before retiring. Bruce was known to be a very kind person and will be deeply missed.
Bruce is survived by his son David (Judy) Bork and Grandpup Ivy. He is preceded in death by his wife June and parents Otto and Bertha Bork.
Memorials preferred to 'Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest' (RAGOM) in Memory of Bob.
