Bruce Alan Conner

Bruce Alan Conner, 71, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at home. Bruce was born February 16, 1954, in St. Charles County, Missouri, a son of the late Don Conner and Barbara (Kneemiller) Conner. He was raised by his mother Barbara Withers and Clifton Harley Withers, Sr.
Bruce graduated from Iberia High School in Iberia, Missouri. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he served as Airman during the Vietnam War. Bruce owned & operated Conners Painting from 1987 until his retirement in 2017.
Bruce enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, cooking and listening to Classic Rock music. He was an avid antique collector. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bruce is survived by his daughter: Jamie Conner (Karlie Berry); two brothers: Paul Withers and Don Conner; a sister: Rita Messersmith (Conner); and two grandchildren: Jeremy Roark and Jace Roark. He was preceded in death by his parents: Barbara & Clifton Withers, Sr.; and two brothers: Clifton Withers and John Anderson Withers.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
