Bruce Halsey Crocombe

Bruce Halsey Crocombe died peacefully on Sunday, May 28th, 2023, loved by family and friends. He was 56 years old.
Bruce was born at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 2nd, 1967. Bruce grew up in Houston, Texas where he attended and played baseball at Robert E. Lee High School and went on to attend and graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science in 1989. Bruce often talked about his days in College Station and looked back on those memories and time in his life very fondly.
During his life, Bruce maintained many hobbies including fishing with his buddies, hunting trips, cooking his favorite foods, woodwork and always kept up with his favorite sports teams (Gig'em). If there is one thing Bruce knew how to do, it was to cook – he showed his love for others through cooking and providing a delicious meal. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Papa and Friend. He was honorable, loving, strong, compassionate and a hardworking man. He loved spending time with his family and friends whether it was crabbing with his son and son in law, a car ride with his wife or a weekend with the guys doing whatever it is they do on those weekends.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Courtenay Crocombe and their combined four children: Lauren Siddall (married to Joshua Siddall), Chase McLane, Haley Crocombe and Paige Crocombe and six grandchildren: Jayden, Jackson, Lennox, Laney, Lily and Riley. Bruce is also survived by his brother Stephen Crocombe (married to Karin Crocombe) of Wichita, Kansas and their children: Zachary Crocombe (married to Stacy), Kendall Crocombe and Ellen Rose (married to Nate Lamb) as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Bruce is preceded in death by his father Paul Eben Crocombe and mother, Claudia Jean Hite Crocombe.
A Memorial Service celebrating Bruce's life will be held Friday, June 9th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Ln., Houston, TX 77042.
