Bruce DeJohn Eafford was born August 7, 1963, in Arlington, Georgia. He was the beloved son of the late Bernice Eafford and Benjamin Eafford, Sr.
He was educated in the Miami Dade Public School System. Upon moving to Albany, Georgia, he continued his education at the Turner Job Corps Center where he acquired the necessary technical and industrial skills to become a highly skilled craftsman.
With his skill training behind him and his tools in hand, Bruce embarked on a 20+ year career in carpentry. He thought outside of the box and worked untiringly to ensure that his work was flawless. Bruce was much sought after in the construction industry. His expertise and professional ethics were second to none and he never faltered in his duties and responsibilities.
Bruce was a devoted father, unfailing brother, awesome uncle, loving nephew, committed cousin, and loyal friend who embraced life with open arms. He believed in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping and caring for others. Bruce made a genuine difference in the lives of everyone around him. He has left an unmatched impression in our hearts that will never be forgotten.
On February 15, 2023, departed this earthly life to be at rest eternally. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernell Eafford and Benjamin Eafford, Jr.; and his grandparents, Jimmy and Ellen Randle and JB and Rose Eafford.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by his children, Kenneth Eafford, Marquita Clark, and Pavielle Weatherspoon all of Miami, FL, and DeJohn Eafford of Bainbridge, GA; siblings, Barbara Eafford and Brenda (Joseph) Murchison of Miami, FL, Bernyce Robinson of Albany, GA, and Belvin (Beverly) Eafford of Kissimmee, FL; nine grandchildren; loving uncle, JB Eafford of Miami, FL; a special niece, Belinda Tarpley of Albany, GA; a very special cousin, Atlas (Sakia) Eafford of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a close friend, Nathaniel (Tiffany) Taylor.
