Bruce was a childhood friend of mine growing up exactly 1 block away from my home as he lived on Sand Lane. We attended Jefferson Elementary and City High together and played football together. I watched my first NFL football game at his house, Chicago Bears with Dick Butkus. I'll never forget it. Bruce was a true citizen of Henderson, dedicated to serving our citizens! No one could ever be more dedicated than Bruce. I am honored to have known him and sorry to learn of his death. He will be remembered as a true friend to the City of Henderson.
