Melissa and David and all the family,
This obituary was spot on and made us smile. Bruce was the definition of graciousness and fun. Ken worked with him at Harleysville National and Myra knew him only through the accolades of her husband, meeting a few times at bank dinners. Ken will always say, "Bruce was the best boss I've ever had!" The Lord allowed us to reconnect when lovely Mary Theresa began her stay at Rock Hill, where Ken's dad had just begun residency. Weekly meetings included visits in MT's room with lots of reminiscing and general laughter. When Bruce fell suddenly ill, it broke our hearts to lose this friendship...so we keep checking in on MT in your stead, Bruce.
We will continue to pray for you, Melissa as I've conveyed often. Only God's sweet mercy can lessen this great loss with memories that make you smile and confidence of his connection to Christ. We love you because he did, you were his sunshine, right after your Mama. Never forget that.
Hugs,
Ken and Myra
