Bruce Fjeran, 75, Two Harbors, died Sunday, March 29, 2026 with his family at his side at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Born April 10, 1950 to Alvin and Hazel (Maki) Fjeran, Bruce was a lifelong resident of Two Harbors. After graduating from high school, he was employed on the ore boats and for Reserve Mining before heading into the woods in 1986. With his sons later joining him, Fjeran Forest Products was created. Bruce retired in 2020, with son Blake taking over the company, which is now in its 3rd generation with grandson, Brock.
When he wasn’t logging, Bruce could be found hunting or fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Marilyn; twin brother, Brian, brother Roger, and an infant brother; and a sister, Darlene Hoagland.
He is survived by his sons, Blake (Sue) Fjeran and Dexter (Tammy) Fjeran; grandchildren, Sasha, Sarah (Nick), Brock (Kylie), and Dakota; a sister, Coral McMahon; and several nieces and nephews.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
