Bruce Forster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Baker, Kensinger Funeral Home - Berea on Apr. 21, 2025.
Bruce Allen Forster, November 16th, 1940 - April 16th, 2025
Bruce joined the Navy after high school and he enjoyed coaching t-ball, softball and ice hockey.
Bruce worked at Pickens Mather for most of his career and his kids would come down and watch the Cleveland air show from his office. He then finished his career at Strongsville Savings Bank where he enjoyed a 5 minute commute from his house. He loved being part of the work community there and especially setting up their annual winter wonderland display.
He served as an usher with the United Methodist Church of Berea for many years and volunteered doing pastoral care visits at nursing homes and hospitals.
In retirement, he enjoyed working at Drake Elementary School as a lunch and recess aid for many years and also enjoyed spending time in nature, including taking care of his yard. Bruce was always the first on his street to mulch, letting the whole neighborhood know it was springtime.
He is survived in death by his wife Carol, his children Amy, Scott, and Jeff, and his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Michael, Wesley, Riley, and William.
The family will miss hunting for the annual family Christmas tree while celebrating the holidays.

Mr. Forster always had the best grass and landscaped yard in the neighborhood. He was always pleasant and friendly.
Rest in peace Mr. Forster.
Sincerely,
