Bruce Kidd, a devoted son and father, passed away on April 3, 2025, at 73. Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Vineland, NJ, by his mother and stepfather, George and Mildred Lucas. He is survived by his son, Bruce Kidd II.
After graduating from Delsea Regional High School in 1969, Bruce enlisted in the Air Force, serving until 1973. He was stationed overseas during the Vietnam War and received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Bruce spent 43 years as Chief Maintenance Engineer at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, dedicating himself to the care of those who served. After retirement, he enjoyed working on his dream car and spending time with loved ones and his beloved friend, Sandra Atkisson. His legacy is one of hard work, loyalty, and love for family and community.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave, Vineland.
