I miss Bruce so much. He and I were friends since the 7th grade at Sheridan middle school.in New Haven ct. we use to draw a small crowd drumming on our desk to James Brown,s music JB. Was our Micheal Jackson we both had a cd collection of 2,800 cds and counting. We would share our music and copy the liner notes to " Keep it professional we gave it a name O.A.A. Original Album Art.I texted Bruce the night before he passed. A quote from one of our favorite songs. Disco Inferno. He would fill in the blanks. It went like this."Sparks were flaming out of control I couldn´t get enough so I had to. This is hard ! He never replyed the answer was "self distruct" Bruce knew how to party Hardy. I met his Daughter and son he loved his children and was a great Dad. I would always call him on his birthday. Dec 20th mine being on Dec 30th we would talk on the phone about music trivia he was the teacher I was the grasshopper R.I.P my brother. Wayne C. Stuckey

Bruce and I attended community college together in New Haven, CT. Bruce was a prolific writer and a lover of music. He used to write to jazz musicians like Chick Corea, offering is comments on the music. Surprisingly, some would write back saying "you're a great writer and critic, you should be writing liner notes." A small group of us who were friends, would jump into is car and drive to NYC to jazz sets at The Village Gate. We also went to NYC to see the premier of the film Apocalypse Now. This same friend group would gather together on a Saturday at his sister Donna's apartment in New Haven and listen to music...then we would comment on what we each heard, how the musician bent the note, or the small intricate nuances of a piece of classic jazz. I also remember when Bruce got his car, a Datsun B210...now known as Nissan, he got in it and drove to Nova Scotia. He also taught me how to drive a stick shift, he was a good teacher. When I was a student at Northeastern University in Boston, I had to get back to school for summer session, and he drove me to Boston. I offered him to stay in one of the dorm rooms, but he declined and got right back on the road back to CT. We reconnected while he was living in FL, he made and sent me several CD's of the music which was the soundtrack of our early years. I am saddened by the sudden loss of Bruce, I pray that he is resting in loving peace, back in the arms of his mother, father and brother, whom he loved dearly. I also pray for Donna during this time, and hope she is comforted by the outpouring of love and memories shared about Bruce. Until we meet again, my friend...Blessing, Peace, Love, and Light. Something I will always remember that even though his stepdaughter he always treated me as his own. He´s taught me a lot and always been there for me in whatever capacity he could and for that I am forever indebted. I will keep my promise to all the things we previously discussed. Geesh this is so hard out of all people why did it have to be you. Love you
