Bruce Denis Meyers, age 75, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 near Golden, Missouri.
He was born June 17, 1947 in Webster City, Iowa the son of Roy and Dorothy (Greenly) Meyers. On October 15, 2005 in Shell Knob, Missouri he was united in marriage to Beverly Donaldson, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Rich Meyers of Ottawa, Kansas; one daughter, Tiffina Spears of Cassville, Missouri; two sisters, Karen Spallitta and her husband Mike of Kansas City, Missouri and Kathy Meyers of Grandview, Missouri; three grandchildren, Grace Meyers, Blake Carlton and Josh Carlton and four great grandchildren, Stormi Carlton, Ellie Carlton, Liam Carlton and Alayni Carlton.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepmother who raised him, Lois Mae Meyers and one son, Chris Hammons.
Bruce graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview, Missouri in 1966. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam as a Security Policeman from June 26, 1967 until February 4, 1970. After returning home he began working on heavy equipment and eventually became a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed traveling and working on and restoring old cars and loved fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2022 at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother David Donaldson will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob.
Contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice in memory of Bruce.
