URBANA – Bruce D. Osborne, Jr., 60 of Urbana, passed away on May 27, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1964 in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son of Mary Marie (Martindale) and Bruce D. Osborne, Sr.
Bruce was employed with the Urbana City Schools and later with the American Pan Company. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, loved his family and everyone loved him, he was a friend to everyone. He also enjoyed coin collecting, taking long walks and just relaxing and taking it easy. He would often share his opinion regarding aliens, conspiracies and politics.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Virginia (Brown) Osborne; son, Bruce Lee Osborne (Brooke); daughter, Amy Marie Osborne; grandchildren, Aiden Osborne, Alyna Osborne, Octavia Osborne, Rose-Lynn Alfrey and Rylin Alfrey; sisters, Connie Smith (Rex) and Marsha Meadows; brothers, James Osborne (Vinnie), Richard Osborne and Carl Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Carolyn Nichols, Robert Osborne, Charlie Ramsey and Barb King.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana with funeral service following at noon. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
