Guest Book
With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Bruce Otvos Jr on August 3, 2025, at the age of 53. A lifelong resident of Casselberry and the Central Florida area, Bruce was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and a loyal friend to many.
Bruce was the kind of man who made everyone feel like family. Known for his sharp sense of humor and quick wit, he could light up any room and leave people laughing for hours. He was always there to lend a hand fixing cars, helping neighbors, or putting on his famous haunted house for the community every Halloween.
He was a fighter through every challenge life threw at him, never backing down and always pushing forward with strength and determination. He loved hard, laughed often, and lived fully.
Fishing was one of his greatest passions it brought him peace and joy, and he loved sharing that with others. Most of all, Bruce loved his family deeply and unconditionally. He was our rock, our safe place, and our greatest supporter.
He is survived by his children Anne-Marie (Shorty) , Alexis Berrios (Lexy), Kayla Berrios, Bruce Otvos III (Bj), His sister Teresa - Anne Gilroy (Trese) and his three grandchildren Aaliyah, Eli, Gabriella (Squeakers) and his dad Bruce Otvos Sr. who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
