I don't know why I thought of Bruce tonight, it's been over 30 years since I saw him. We worked together at JJ Whispers (was the greatest night club in the 80s) My Dad always sent me papers from Pittsburgh so I used to bring them into work since a lot of people were from PGH. While Bruce was painting he saw the drop cloth the paint was landing on was from home. This is how I met him.
He was one of the greatest guys, warm, sweet, and honest. Condolences to his friends & family.

I really miss Bruce. I miss his funny, exaggerated travel stories, his good heartedness, his sense of humor and his laugh. He was such a good guy, boss and friend. It is hard for me to believe I can't just pick up the phone and call him.

I am so sorry to have just found out about Bruce. When Helen Brock Ford married we were together at her wedding. He was such a sweet kind caring man. I just found out today from Helen's daddy. Again I am sorry to hear.

Just found out about his very sad news. I worked with Bruce at Universal Orlando and Visit Orlando. I had a great admiration for his leadership style, his always positive personality and his great smile. I spent a lot of time with him after hours when we were out of country and our of state at tourism events. Such a great guy gone much, much too early.

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Bruce from our days together at Boardwalk and Baseball. Kind, considerate, warm, thoughtful, fun, genuine, friendly, conscientious, great salesman and overall good guy. These are but a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Bruce. I smile whenever I think of Bruce. You will be missed my friend!

When i worked in travel Bruce was a client of mine. He was always friendly and fun to deal with and made working with him a real pleasure. I'm very sad to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I was overwhelmed hearing of Bruce's passing. He was definitely the epitome of the saying "one in a million"! I consider myself fortunate to have met him, worked with him, and known him. It was always a pleasure and fun to be in his company - he was always so positive and the bright light in any room or group.

When you have taught for 22 years, there are many students that pass through your doorway. Bruce was one of my favorites. Always positive, always smiling. I remember him with a smile on my face. Many years ago when Bruce was at Universal, I flew our son Matthew down to Orlando to follow Bruce around the office for three days just to introduce him to the business side of life. As usual, Bruce was a gracious host. I'd lost track of him over these past few years and was shocked to hear of his passing. Somehow, I just didn't think it would be this soon. Bruce's legacy with me is over the top. I wish I had been able to connect lately to tell him.

This is such sad news. Bruce was a truly great guy, and someone I was proud to call a friend. I have many wonderful memories of Bruce, and how kind and generous he was to my son. Deepest condolences.

Not enough words to say how sad we are at Bruce's sudden passing. He was godfather to our oldest son, Blake and Steelers and Penguins BFF with our youngest Justin. He took both our boys on trips to destinations they chose whether Denver, Colorado for NFL game, Steelers training camp or New York City to see the tallest buildings Justin could imagine at such a young age. Bruce spoiled them at Christmas and birthdays as if they were his own. He and Scott were inseparable which allowed them so many wonderful memories from JB's Sport Bar to hiking in and out of the Grand Canyon. Bruce will be greatly missed but I am so grateful that Scott and our boys have all these memories of their time with Bruce. May your life be Eternal Bruce. Scott, Helen, Blake and Justin Ford

Bruce, and his Family, were our great friends in Emsworth, PA. I went to Sunday School and Elementary school with Bruce. We were best friends growing up in Emsworth. We would sit out back of our house, and make roller coasters on paper. The Reams were always the ones I always wanted to visit our family! Bruce always did his Ed Sullivan impersonation. in fact, when we saw him last, in Orlando, he did his Ed Sullivan impersonation for my little family. . He was one of the nicest and classiest person that Ill ever know. He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers, as I do. Bruce, Ill see you in Heaven, sweetheart. I will always love You! Lindie Bescer
