Bruce Edgar Alvin Reece, age 46, passed away October 28, 2023. Bruce was born October 13, 1977 to the late David Reece and Brenda Buchanan.
Bruce was the craziest, most protective man with the biggest heart. He was always a hard worker, loved his family, and was the best husband, dad, and papaw. You could bring any problem to him and he would move heaven and earth to help fix it. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved going to the beach. Whether it was motorcycles, dirt-bikes or the tractor, he loved riding and listening to the wind blow. He was big Chicago Bears football fan and also enjoyed golf. Bruce was a God-fearing man and loved the Lord. He knew the Bible and could quote any scripture.
Those left to cherish his memories include his partner of 30 years and wife of 27 years, Christy Reece; son, Bruce Reece Jr. “Brucie” and girlfriend Abi Grant; daughter, Alexandria Reece Eller “Ally Bug” and husband Joshua; grandchildren, Jax Eller and Letty Eller; his grandmother Mary Woody, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Sugar Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Don Winters officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Ward, Lucas Hartley, Wes Ward, Adam Sauer, Nate Reece, Eric Matherly, Mike Farmer, and Jason Johnson
