Bruce C. Riemann, age 75, a resident of Elgin, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. He was born June 16, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Marvin & Vera Riemann.

He graduated from Platteville High School with the class of 1968 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to study mechanical engineering.

He built a career in sales, working for companies including John Deere, Fiatallis & New Holland. Later transitioning to home construction and sales.

A lifelong, devout Christian and active member of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, Bruce found great purpose in service. He volunteered with St. John Lutheran Church’s ALERT disaster response teams, traveling to communities impacted by natural disasters to help rebuild and offer support. He took deep joy in helping others and living out his faith.

In his quieter moments, Bruce was an avid collector. He enjoyed coin collecting and maintained a cherished Lionel O-gauge model train collection.

He will be remembered as a loving brother, father and grandfather, a man of strong faith, and someone who strove to make a difference through his work and willingness to serve.

He is survived by his children Brad (Melissa) Riemann, Meredith Riemann & Delaney (Bryan) Ballard; his granddaughters Cecilia & Adella Ballard; his sisters Kathleen (Doug) Mitchell, Cheryl (Bob) Hallberg & Caren (Kent) Stone; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents.
