Bruce Wilson Robertson, Jr., 65, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 1, 2025. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday starting at 1:00 pm. His graveside service will be private.
Bruce was born April 7, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Frances Flemming "Mickey" "Meemaw" Robertson and the late Bruce Wilson Robertson, Sr. Bruce was a member of Ravenel United Methodist Church. He worked for the VA Hospital for 34 years as a HVAC Mechanic and supervisor. Bruce was a jack of all trades. He worked not only on HVAC, but cars, boats, and just about anything he could get his hands on. His favorite memory was restoring the race boat the "Wild Geechee" with his father. Bruce will be remembered as a calm and simple man with a big heart. He felt as if he was put on this earth to help people.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his best friend, Pam Gable; sister, Sheri Robertson (John) Boineau; niece, Caroline Boineau (Chris) Lacey; nephew, John F. Boineau; great nieces and nephews, Cody, Logan, Taylor, Hannah, and Bradley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Wilson Robertson, Sr.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his wonderful care team.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
