Of Lockport, entered into rest on January 12, 2026. Beloved husband of 39 years of Mona S. Shelby (nee Hayek); devoted father of John Shelby; he is survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. on January 19, 2026 from 3 to 7 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Maron Church on 2040 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville, NY 14221 at 10 a.m. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Shelby´s passing. I met him while I was the Town Clerk in Pendleton. He tried to rattle me a little on our first meeting back in 2018 but we immediately became friends after that. It was always a pleasure speaking with him when he would come in to take care of business. He always made it a point to find me today hello. Rest in peace Mr. Shelby. My condolences to the family.

Dear Shelby and Hayek Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Bruce. He was a man of deep faith, generosity, and quiet strength, whose love for the Church and for others was evident in all he did. His faithful service as a Brother Knight of the Knights of Columbus and his dedication to St. John Maron Parish will always be remembered with gratitude.
May Christ welcome him into eternal rest, and may God grant you comfort, peace, and strength during this time of sorrow. Please know that you are in my prayers and close to my heart.
