BRUCE EARL WILSON, age 82, of Luverne, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Sanford Luverne Hospice Cottage surrounded by his family. He was born July 8, 1943, in Adrian, to LeRoy and Leona (Dalberg) Wilson. He graduated from Magnolia High School. He served his country in the National Guard for many years.

Bruce married Jana Ledgerwood on August 2, 1964 in Inwood, IA. The couple lived in Luverne where Bruce worked for the city as a Line Superintendent.

He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, in Luverne, where he served as an Usher and Deacon; and the Hardwick American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and most of all spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Jana Wilson, Luverne; three children, Pam (Bill) Rasmussen, Luverne; Brenda (Scot) Lunt, Adrian; and Wendy (Pradeep) Jayaraman, Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren, Dustin (Alyssa) Wilson, Brewster; Amanda (Brian) Mazza, Adrian; Kyle (Tina) Lunt, Adrian; Alecia (Brandon) Lunt, Adrian; Ketan and Sasha; Sioux Falls, SD; seven great-grandchildren, Devin, Carter, Jacoby, Holly, Kade, Knox and Dexter; sister, Geri Hink, Lake City; and a brother, Dan (Barb) Wilson, Duluth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great-granddaughter, Erin Mazza; two brothers, Dave and Brad Wilson; sister-in-law, Barb Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Gordy Hink.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday, Aug. 19 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Funeral will be 11 am Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, in Luverne, officiated by Pastor Andrew Palmquist. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Rushmore.
