He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hammontree, and his brother, J.J. Hammontree Jr.
He is survived by his loving mother, Freida Hammontree; his brother, Tim Hammontree and wife Cynthia; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
In keeping with the family's wishes, all services will be private.
