Bryan A. Douglas, 66, of Erie, IL, died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Unity Point Health – Trinity, Bettendorf, Iowa. There are no services planned. Memorials may be made to the Erie Ambulance. Gibson – Bode Funeral Home, Erie, is in care of the cremation services.
Bryan was born January 7, 1958 in Moline, IL, to Don and Mildred "Mille" (Huff) Douglas. He graduated from Erie High School in 1976. He married Donna L. Hawk in Sterling, IL, in 1980. Bryan worked as a computer programmer for Swan Engineering in Bettendorf for 35 years until it's closing. He then finished his career at George Evans Company in Moline.
Bryan loved fishing and he was an antique car enthusiast. His greatest love was his family and he enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Jennifer (Ryan) Otto, Pekin, IL; sisters, Sheila (Jim) Sikardi, Erie, IL, Carol (Wesley) Nutt, Hampton, IL, Ruth Bell, Fort Madison, IA, and Linda (Dr. John) Herrin, Amherst, NH. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, George and Madeline Hawk; grandparents; and a special grandfather, Burdette Huff. Share a memory or condolence at www.gibsonbodefh.com
