Bryan Irish Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel - Poy Sippi on Feb. 4, 2026.
Bryan Everett Irish, age 58, of Poy Sippi, died peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin.

He was born February 9, 1967, in Eugene, OR, the son of Jack and Donna Miller Irish. Bryan lived a life marked by service, quiet strength, and a deep commitment to those around him. A proud Navy veteran, Bryan served his country with honor aboard the USS Canisteo and during the Desert Storm War. His time in the military reflected his steadfast dedication and sense of duty-qualities that remained central throughout his life.

Bryan was known for his kind heart, genuine spirit, and humble nature. A teacher by instinct and passion, he had an extraordinary ability to share knowledge with patience and clarity. Whether guiding someone through a complex task or offering a listening ear, Bryan left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Outside of his professional and military life, Bryan found joy in simple pleasures. He loved fishing-spending peaceful hours by the water brought him great contentment. His green thumb was evident in his garden, where he nurtured plants with care and pride. In his garage, he could often be found tinkering-fixing things or creating something new with quiet focus and satisfaction.

He is survived by his father, Jack Irish; girlfriend, Heidi Isaac; siblings; other family members and friends who will remember him with deep affection and gratitude for the time they shared with him; his beloved dog, Lollie Popp; and cat, Herbbie. Bryan was preceded in death by his mother; and brother, Willy. Bryan's legacy lives on in the many lives he touched through his wisdom and warmth. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life well-lived in service to others.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola-Hempel Funeral Chapel in Poy Sippi.
