Bryan Colby Schaefer

Bryan Colby Schaefer, born on September 20, 1982 in Pensacola, Florida, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at age 35 on June 10, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida. Bryan served in the Army National Guard/ Special Forces in the Global War on Terror. Bryan is survived by his mother, Sandra Smith (Ken); his father, John Schaefer, his brother, Benjamin Schaefer; his sister, Ashley White. Bryan was an amazing man, warrior, friend, mentor, son and brother and will be missed beyond words. Friends and family are invited to attend a military honors service to be held on Friday, July 20th, at 1:30 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida. Attendees will meet at Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus at 1:00 p.m. to be escorted onto Pensacola Naval Air Station. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus for family and friends to meet and celebrate Bryan's life.
