Bryan “Shorty” Stoughtenger, 62, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, after a long illness. Born in Fulton, he was a son to the late Donald and Marlene (Crego) Stoughtenger. Bryan was the coach of the Fulton Softball League and helped his team reach #1 in the league. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports especially NY Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen. Bryan was also a very sociable person. He was predeceased by his son, Travis Castiglia and two infant siblings.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Mary Gandino; five children, Matthew Vincent, Breann Stoughtenger, Andrew Stoughtenger, Amanda Stoughtenger, Belle Rodgers Stoughtenger; three siblings, Mark Stoughtenger, John Stoughtenger, and Amy Loetterle; eight grandchildren, Alexander, Mason, Anthony, Kaidyen, Keegan, Magnolia, Lila, and Everly; and several nieces and nephews.
In respect to Bryan’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
