Bud Phipps

Bud was always a special friend to me. We always enjoyed him at the Threshing show at Dalton; We all will miss his smile and greeting each year. Special sympathy to Kevin, Tom, Les and families. Dolores Simdorn, Fergus Falls

We were honored to be a part of Bud's life recently and he will be missed very much. He lived an amazing life, probably packing in more than 100 years of living during the 85 he was on earth. I will never forget hearing about him getting in the army when he was 14 years old, his driving taxi even to the Twin Cities and back, the dogs he raised and sold as a child, and the cats he loved as an adult. He was the salt of the earth and loved by many. Jeanette West

Bud was my neighbor for many years while I was growing up in Alexandria. He would always come over and sit and pick on me as I was a kid:) I also remember he always made the best steaks at the steak frys at the VFW. I have many good memories of him and will always remember him.
