Burlyn "Toby" B. Ferge, 83, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 at home in Milton, Wisconsin.
Toby was born on his grandparents, Henry and Cora Ferge's farm in Easton, Wisconsin. He retired from Marathon Box Company after 46 years, moving to Milton, Wisconsin. Toby loved to ride his bike, go for walks, crossword puzzles, picture puzzles and snuggles with cat, Rinnie. He also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors. He was known for sitting outside waving to travelers.
Toby is survived by his siblings: Patricia(Gerald) Bargenquast, Marcile(Peter) Seavers, Harold(Carolyn) Ferge, Ralph(Janet) Ferge and Harold Boyd. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Kim Quist, Bradley Seavers, Jamey Seavers, Jay Ferge, Tammy(Scott) Miller, Chad Ferge, Dana Ferge, Maurine(Scott) Semevolos, Cathy Boyd and Laurie(Jerrald) Kilian, 11 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burlyn and Marie(Perewich) Ferge, sister Carol Boyd, Aunt Myrtle and Uncle Maurice Barkley, nephews, Kevin Bargenquast, Justin Ferge, Scot Quist and niece Tonya(Carlson) Ferge.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Helke Funeral Home. (302 Spruce Street, Wausau WI 54401) with Pastor Paul Sundbom officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at Helke Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Burlyn's favorite charity is Agrace Hospice Center.
