The dust on the sidewalk,
Was just sweep away.
Burt and his broom,

The way that he swept.

I still see it yet.

I remember once in a store my daughter asked me who made this stuff. I told her that it had to be created by someone who wanted to make sure other people had good things to use to make them feel better and that they must really know how to make nature come to us. Thank you Burt for wonderful memories of me and my daughters pampering each other with your foot care products.

I met and chatted with Burt a few times at KC's Store here in Parkman. I didn't realize who he was until I saw the documentary "Burt's Buzz." What an incredible life he led. Rest in Peace Burt.

I met Burt at an Earth Day celebration in 2000 or 2001 at the New Morning Healthfood Store in Woodbury, CT. I had never heard of him or "Burt's Bees". I was doing Chair Massage at the event. When it was nearly over, Burt came over and asked me for a chair massage. I gladly obliged. After the massage, he brought me one of his "Burt's Bees T-shirts that I still wear with pride. I knew from the moment we met he was a great guy and very spiritual. I'm happy that we shared a few minutes together in this life! He made a difference in my life and I hope I did the same for him. My condolences to the family. He will be remembered fondly by many for a long time!

Burt was one of kind, a gentle soul, one to be admired. We enjoyed him in work and play. Rest in Peace your job is done.

I wish more people would embrace the natural and simple life. The world would be a happier and more peacerful place. Thanks Burt for all you did for us while you were here. You'll always be remembered. RIP my friend.

Your documentary changed how I think about life, thank you.

Wonderful man ,wonderful products,Burt showed the world how to simplify our lives and enjoy God's green earth. May the Shavtz friends and family reflect on Gods promise to make this earth a beautiful simple paradise ,then we can learn a lot from Burt.

To lose the father of invention Burt's Bee and friend in death leaves a void in our lives. The original purpose for mankind was to live forever under perfect conditions. (Genesis 2:7) Death, sorrow and pain will end permanently on earth.

Rest in peace Burt. What a blessing to have worked for your company, and have some of your values grace who I am.

A little over a year ago I became fascinated with Burt's story and face and drew his portrait. RIP Burt!
