Byron G. Saunders passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 27, 1942.
Byron proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a reflection of his strength, dedication, and love for his nation.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Peggy; four daughters; two sons; six grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply and was incredibly proud of.
Byron will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but we find comfort in knowing this is not goodbye forever and that we will see him again someday.
This verse reminds us of God’s presence, power, and beauty—seen even in the smallest moments, just as Byron/Dad/Grumpa, taught us to see.
“The Lord is slow to anger and great in power… The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.” Nahum 1:3
