C. Gordon Fullerton

I have very fond memories of visiting with Gordo on the 747 Shuttle Carrier and at Edwards AFB. He was the classiest of acts. He was inspirational and will be sorely missed.

We met briefly and you led me to a career in space. Thank you for your time and work. We were all blessed by your presence here on earth and in space. I wish your family strength and comfort in this time. No words I can say would help save one. Godspeed.

Dear Marie, Molly, Andy and families, Our love, our hearts, and our prayers reach out to you for today's and tomorrow's services, and for each new day ahead. You have orchestrated in magnificent fashion the final wishes that Gordy desired, and that will honor him in the way he lived, with thoughtfulness and great courage. Thank you for sharing these event with all who knew Gordy, and loved him, and will miss him also.

Comfort your loved ones

Gordo landed Columbia in my back yard at Northrup Strip and except for a ride with Charlie Hayes in the STA in 1985, culminated many years of my involvement in the STS program starting in the early 70's in the AEDC wind tunnels. Gordo was one of the rocks who made up the foundation of the space program, holding the course when others lost sight of the vision. His name and contributions will never be forgotten, and we mourn his early departure. But we all know the real end of life's story, and I think those of you in his family will draw upon that certainty and celebrate the final chapter with Gordo.

I can sum him up in 2 words "Great man"

Visited Kennedy Space Center recently, and was reminded again that NASA and our astronauts are a wonderful part of our American heritage. So very sad to read of your loss as well as the nation's.

We had so many great times with all of you during our adventures attending the launch of Apollo 14, the launch of Columbia, visiting NASA in Houston and having the experience of being in the shuttle simulator with Gordo in command. He truly is an American Hero and will be missed by all who knew him.
