C. Lorenzo Pope

I worked with Lorenzo during the early registration years of "Londax" rice herbicide. Lorenzo was not only instrumental in getting the registration, but he was a wealth of knowledge on California rice culture which helped shaped the final label. I great man to work with and always a friend. He made a lasting impression on all of us and gave us an example to live by.

I worked with Lorenzo on many different issues impacting the California Rice industry over the years. Lorenzo was thoughtful and hard working colleague who never wavered in what he believed was best for the industry. Personally, he was a pleasure to collaborate with on many contentious issues. I admired him and am thankful for his many contributions to our industry and community in the Valley. Our condolences go out to his family. Michael Rue and family.
