C. Stumpf Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 28, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved C. Patricia Stumpf, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on Monday, February 14, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, Patricia lived a life filled with love and laughter until her peaceful passing on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Pasadena Home Care.
Patricia was a devoted and loving mother to her three children: daughters Roxanne Carey and Toni Kellner, and son Michael Stumpf and his wife Linda. She was also a proud and doting grandmother to Kristy, Scott and his wife Jen, Brandon, Morgan, and Michael Jr., and a loving great-grandmother to Cameron, Mia, Addy, Gage, Scotty, and Max. Patricia is also survived by her caring brothers, Ronald Sadler and Thomas Sadler.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Sadler, her beloved husband William Stumpf, her sister Janice Plowman, her sister Lola King, and her brother George Sadler.
For over three decades, Patricia dedicated her professional life as a Laboratory Technician at Glidden which later became SCM, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 2000 at which time she became a crossing guard for Anne Arundel County. Her colleagues remember her as a committed professional and a gentle soul whose presence brightened their days.
Outside of work, Patricia had a zest for life and a love for socializing. She was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hats Society, where she cherished the camaraderie and vibrant gatherings. Her interests included playing Bunko, a lively pastime she enjoyed with friends, as well as reading, travel, and indulging in shopping sprees. Patricia's warmth and joy for life were infectious, and she will be remembered for her kindness, sense of style, and friendly nature. Everybody loved her, and her loss will be felt deeply by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to say their final goodbyes at the visitation services held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. Afternoon visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by evening visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Patricia's life will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at the same location, Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
As we mourn the loss of Patricia, we also celebrate the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her memory will continue to inspire us to live fully and love deeply. Rest in peace, dear Patricia. Your spirit will shine brightly in our lives forever.
