Caldon Vastine Evans Partain Webb

Mrs. Caldon Vastine Evans Partain Webb, 83, of Brewers Mill Road, Elberton, wife of Homer Talmadge Webb, passed away on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2023, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Webb was born in Elbert County on October 30, 1940, daughter of the late Luther Alexander Evans and Lois Frankie Black Evans Pless. She worked as a nurse’s aide in nursing homes and as a seamstress at Elberton Manufacturing Company. Caldon loved her family and animals dearly. 

Surviving, in addition to her husband Homer, are her children: Charlie and Lisa Partain of Elberton, Manuel Partain of Elberton, Glenn Partain of Columbus, Glenda Partain Fields of Elberton, and April Partain Boleman of Elberton; siblings: Larry and Bonnie Evans of Elberton, Preston and Debbie Evans of Tignall, Bonnie Lovett of Greenwood, SC, Steve and Kim Evans of Elberton, and Wynna and Randy Burt of Carlton; sister-in-law, Laverne Evans of Elberton; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Luther Evans, Sr. 

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, from 2:00-2:45p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. 

Funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 3:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Huff officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery with Charlie Partain, Jr., J.R. Dudley, Mitchell Boleman, Matthew Boleman, and Luther Evans, Jr. honored as pallbearers.
