Calvin Benjamin Glidden, Sr, was born March 6, 1939, and passed away November 6, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kay; children, C.B. (Becky) Glidden, Dean (Kristy) Glidden, Ron (Patti) Glidden, David Bishop, and Tammy (James) Renfro; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Diane (Lloyd) Coates. He was preceded by his parents, Benjamin and Margaret; his first wife, Joyce Marie; and his grandson, Joseph.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 13th, with funeral services beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 14th, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 Mormon Bridge Rd, Omaha, NE. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Council Bluffs.
