Calvin Simon

Calvin was our neighbour here in Windsor for many years and then moved away. He was very proud of P Funk, and had many tales to tell. RIP Calvin. Mary and Kevin Moore

Calvin was my very kind neighbor when he lived in North York, both musicians, we had a connection. He introduced me to the music of Gil Scott Heron....... RIP.

We are losing many of our talented people as they fall asleep in death. Now we have lost Calvin but his music will be around for a long long time. To Calvin's family I am sorry for your difficult loss. May the God of comfort continue to be with you.

We truely lost a talented performer. Kind soul and dear friend. Brought joy to everyone. It was and honour to be Calvin's friend. You'll be missed.

Calvin Simon was a dear friend of my family. Entertainment was one of his many contributions. He served this Country during the Viet Nam War and had a lasting impact on ever community that he lived in. He truly loved his wife Jennifer and often talked about her efforts t help the needy. Yes, he was an athlete and a great "Card Player" on certain nights. He had a true love for God and it shows in the latest Gospel Albums that he produced in the last five-seven (5-7) years. He was a person that you could trust. A brilliant mind and excellent thinker when it came to business really stood out when talking to him about any project. He loved "America" and his service showed it. His comment on making decisions based on "Intent" always stood out. He gave so much to help those in need. Yes he will be missed at our gathering at "Thanksgiving", but his spirit will be with us forever. Finally, he loved nice cars and dressed always to impress. The communities of Tampa Bay Golf & Country Club and Lake Jovita will miss his presence, along with the staff at his favorite restaurant "Stephanie's.

We lost a truly talented performer, a great mentor, terrific friend and a wonderful member of Kingsville Golf Club. Although we are saddened by loosing Calvin, we are so grateful to be given the opportunity to know Cal and experience the way he enriched our lives. May you rest in peace my friend. Had the pleasure of playing golf with Calvin on a few occasions. From the moment he was introduced to me, he made me feel so very special on each every visit. That my friends is a very special gift.
