Calvin Spurlock Obituary
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Robbins, of Silsbee; children, Brandon Spurlock and his wife, Alyssa, of Neenah, Wisconsin; and Selyna Huerta and her husband, Jeremy, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Kaden Spurlock, Ryker Spurlock, Maleena Spurlock, Kaia Spurlock, and Autumn Rodriguez; great-grandchild, Sadie Bernard; and numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father; and twin brother, Alvin Spurlock.
A gathering of Mr. Spurlock's family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church, 827 County Rd 4156, Deweyville, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.

I was blessed to have Calvin in my life. He was not only my dearest cousin; he was also my precious friend. He had the sweetest, kindest heart & was always ready to help anyone in need. He led a beautiful Christian life & set an example of how people should be. He adored his mother, his children & grandchildren, his siblings. He was devoted to them; they were his priority. He also had a special gift with animals. They saw him clearly & were blessed with his love & devotion.
Calvin never met a stranger. He was always ready & graciously helped anyone in need. & he was funny! He was a prankster who loved playing practical jokes, always ready to laugh!
What an incredible cook who lovingly shared his jellies, jerky & recipes! He lived life to the fullest. He was a hard worker.
He was the sweetest, kindest man that I have ever known. He set a beautiful example.
He & I shared beautiful moments that I will treasure always. I will carry & his sweetness in my heart forever.
Calvin was truly special. I am honored to have him in my life.
