Calvin Williams Obituary
Calvin's life was rich with the love of his family. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberlie Burnette, and her husband, Worter Burnette; his brother, L.C Williams; sisters, Sandy Williams and Gwen Rae; niece, Rebecca Getts, and her husband, Matt Getts; nephews, Dion and Landon; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jo Merworth and Leonard Clifton Williams, and his brother, Kenneth Robinson.
Calvin's passion for music extended beyond the stage as he cherished playing drums at every opportunity, a hobby that brought him immense joy and fulfillment.
Calvin's life will be remembered for his spirited personality and his profound impact on those around him through his music and familial bonds. His legacy will resonate in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Calvin played at Ector coliseum several times. His band opened for name band. ZZ Top drummer hurt his wrist so they asked Calvin to fill his space. He was a good drummer.
He opened for Jerry Jeff Walker and was asked to tour with them. He could have had his name on album covers. He turned it down because his daughter was young and didn't want to be away from home
