Mr. Calvin Emanuel Wilson
of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 28, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, with Pastor Nathaniel Forbes, officiating. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED). Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Tampa, Florida and a resident of Douglas, Georgia for many years.
He attended Plant High School online G.E.D. program, and he was a member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa. He was employed as a Certified Gauger at Precision Castparts Corporation for many years.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his fiancée, Barbara Sharpe; one loving son, Calvin Wilson III and fiancée, Stephanie Monestine; granddaughter, Iyani Hassan; God daughter, Precious Young; step-children, Deonta Felton, Ander Guion, Erica Knight, Maurice Sharpe, and Antonio Woods; siblings, Zakiyyah Aquil, Willie Evans, Barbara Lowman, Vanessa Ransom, Calvon Davis and husband, Frankie Davis, Lawrence Wilson and fiancée, Tomica Davis, Larry Wilson, Carolyn Whitler and husband, Gonzellas Whitler, Rock Wilson, and Mike Wilson; nieces and nephews, Buye Aquil, Shaka Aquil, Omowale Henderson, Tamaka Lowman, Nathaniel Lowman, Jr., Teddrick Dampier and wife, Tracy Dampier, Ottis Dampier, Kashay Natiel, Minqui Natiel, Nakita C. Bingham, Calvin Wilson, Jr., Tavia Wilson, Akeesha Wilson, Marissa Whitler; cousins, Lillian Cox and Rekay Williams; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.
The remains will repose from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED).
