Camdyn Elijah Woods

Camdyn Elijah Woods, age 15, passed away August 11, 2023.
He is survived by his parents, Seth A. Woods and Alicia A. (Steven) Frankenfield; sister, Brooklyn Woods; and brother, Daxtyn Frankenfield; paternal grandparents, Barbara (JR Walker) Smith, Ronnie (Carol) Smith; maternal grandparents, Pamela Perry and Carl Perry Jr.; aunt, Alison Perry; uncle, Thomas Hurt; aunt, Stephenie Woods; and many beloved family and friends.
Camdyn was a junior at Stewart's Creek High School. He enjoyed fishing, riding his dirtbike, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a talented photographer and an avid self-taught musician, excelling at both guitar and piano. Camdyn's passion for music most recently inspired him to learn to play the harmonica.
Camdyn was a beloved member of the racing community, touching many lives both on and off the track. Camdyn experienced substantial success throughout his racing career which included but is not limited to winning the Mini Cup Championship at Thunderhill Raceway Park in 2020. Camdyn's dream was to be able to race nationally. To say that he was on the right track is an understatement, as he joined the Tennessee Mod Lite Racing Association at only 14 years old.
Camdyn was well known in the community both for his great sense of humor and his likable personality. He expressed his heart of service through his pressure washing and window cleaning business, with a 100% focus on customer satisfaction. He shared his spirit and humor with everyone that he met. His contagious smile and fun, kind-hearted disposition brought joy to all who loved him. Camdyn leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that can never be matched.
The family will received friends for a celebration of life service Sunday, August 27, 2023, visitation 2pm – 5pm immediately followed by the service at 5pm at LifePoint Church, 506 Legacy Drive, Smyrna, TN 37167.
