Mr. Cameron A. Gillett

On Friday, May 6, 2011, Cameron Gillett passed away suddenly as the result of a car accident. Cameron was born in Los Angeles on April 10, 1990, to parents of Eileen Neal and Nigel Gillett. Cameron leaves behind his mother Eileen, stepfather Wilbert Saunders, his brothers Connor, Nigel, Nathan and his stepsisters, Mischara, LaShaunda, and Tristy; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cameron graduated from Brethren Elementary School, Santa Fe Springs Christian Middle School and La Mirada High School, in La Mirada, CA. Cameron worked at the La Mirada Community Center where he served to inspire young people to excel in athletics and at life. Cameron was attending Long Beach State University where he was pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics and excelling in track and field. Cameron gave his life to his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Cameron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Cameron is the 2008 California State Champion in the Long Jump. Cameron was beloved by all, and will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the community. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Zoe Christian Fellowship, 10252 Mills Avenue, Whittier, CA 90604. Burial directly after the service at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3688 Workman Mill road, Whittier, CA 90601 (Lupine Lawn, Grave 1.) The family invites all Cameron’s family and friends to come and celebrate his life with them.
