Cameron Laine Lehrkamp went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 25, 2025, at the young age of 21. He was born on June 6, 2003, in Baytown, Texas, Cameron had early education in Cleveland, TX., Conroe, TX., and Anahuac, TX., before ultimately graduating from Coldspring, TX., where he cultivated a deep love for family and friends.
Cameron was known for his big bright smile, vibrant personality and his cheerful joking spirit. He loved music and to hang out and play video games.
Cameron’s employment with ABC Signs allowed him the treasured time to work with his father.
Cameron is survived by his beautiful daughter, Camee Jaene Lehrkamp and his fiancé Cay Cay Carter. He leaves behind his mother, Aimee Lamphier and father, Troy Lehrkamp and their spouses, LaTosha Hindman and DeAnn Lehrkamp, grandparents; Larry and Beverly Lehrkamp, Bonnie Larson, and Susan & Roger Slaid.
Cameron is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Austin Lehrkamp, Bailey Lehrkamp and fiancé Gaven Hobyl, Erik Best and wife Jacie McLamb and Chase Best. Additionally, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members as well as a host of friends who had the privilege to know and love him.
Cameron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Janet Lamphier. His loss will be profoundly felt across all the lives he touched.
Cameron’s memory will live in the hearts of those that cherished him, and his love and laughter will remain a guiding light for his family and friends.
Visitation services will be held at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Cameron will be laid to rest at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.
